Overview
The 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching Netball is ideal for anyone interested in becoming a netball coach.
They will develop their knowledge of how to effectively coach a local club or school team, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills to grow their career in this area.
This qualification is recognised as the industry standard Level 1 qualification for netball coaches by UK Coaching.
It is supported by the National Source Group for Netball and is led by England Netball, the National Governing Body for Netball in England.
Qualification Progression
This qualification leads to further learning or training in the area of coaching netball and/or other related areas. Learners achieving this qualification might consider progressing on to the 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Netball or the 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching (Sport and Physical Activity).
This qualification can lead to paid or voluntary roles as an assistant netball coach. Other roles that the learner may consider exploring to include activity leader, netball umpire and sports volunteer.
