Overview

The 1st4sport Level 2 Equine Groom Diploma (Riding) is perfect for learners aspiring to work as equine grooms.

They will learn how to care for racehorses and carry out general stable management routines as an equine groom, covering general horse care including:

  • feed
  • water
  • grooming
  • health and safety in the stable environment.

This pathway includes a unit on riding.

This qualification is supported by the BHA as the National Governing Body, trade association and employers for horseracing in the UK.

Qualification Progression

Learners may progress to other industry-relevant qualifications in Equine Grooming such as the Level 3 Senior Equine Groom Diploma.
