Overview
The 1st4sport Level 3 Award in the Principles of Transporting Horses on Long Journeys (Attendant/Driver) is ideal for learners who aspire to work with horses.
It’s also relevant for learners who already work with horses and are interested in further growing their skills to enable them to transport horses on long journeys.
They will gain the skills and knowledge that they need to transport horses safely and legally on journeys longer than 8 hours as an attendant or driver.
This qualification is supported by the BHA as the trade association and employers for Horseracing in the UK.
Qualification Progression
Learners could progress onto additional CPD opportunities offered through industry specific organisations.
Successful learners will be able to progress to Attendant or Attendant / Driver roles for long journeys.
